Was planning a trip to Afan tomorrow, but phone up Skyline Cycles and they said conditions are really bad, descents are too icy and you can't judge the edges coz of the snow. Only 3 people went up today apparently.

So, can anyone recommend any alternatives (trail centre or otherwise) where the tracks are still ridable? Cwmcarn was great last weekend but don't know if it's still ok, and fancied something a bit longer.

Cheers, R

Stay at home, not worth the risk.

All natural, but its only going to be a couple of hours around the woods North of Cardiff. I don't think I could face an epic at the moment in this weather !!

I rode Penhydd today and it was fine, 2-3" of snow all way around but not especially slippery. Not sure what the other trails are like though.
