You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Planning a trip in either the last week of September or first week of October. Needs to be dry, somewhere in Europe, more downhill than uphill - uplifts would be good, and preferably fast, flowy trails rather than super-rocky, technical riding. Don't mind if it's self-guided or organised.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Basque country will still be nice. Doug at www.basquemtb.com does uplift types stuff on some rides, but the amount I'd guess depends on what other guests there are.

I'm pretty sure I saw an ad in one of the Mags that Verbier was open til mid-October. Could be wrong - so check it out
There's a few alpine resorts but it might not be that dry. Maybe one of the Pyrenees resorts? Personally I'd be heading for Spain. There's lot's of trails around Malaga, some rockier than others. Uplift is by van and usually needs a bit of extra pedalling, though.
...it's open until the 17th Sept and then w/e until the 21st Oct (weather permitting)

We do what you ask for. Uplift from about 20% to 70% depending on the week. The south Pyrenees week we do could work too, mix of uppy downy and full uplift. That's mid October with Ed Oxley. We're quite booked up but I'm on tour just now and can't check my calendar, of you dropped a mail I could let you know.
(sent from phone so please excuse spelling etc)
Cheers for the replies. Might drop you a mail shortly Doug.

Fortunately the fires down here have missed all our routes, thankfully.
Stunning singletrack rides with plenty of bus uplift during the day & fantastic après-bike on the coast at night.

+1 for switch backs, just e-mailed Mike about a week at the end of October, this'll be my 3rd year in a row.

at the Sierra Nevada, Andalucia, Southrn Spain, some of our routes have a 1200 metres downhill bias, due to our uplifts high into the Sierra Nevada, also no problem with fires and good night life if you want it in our town, Orgiva
