Me and a mate have the Greencard for a day's riding....
would prefer a trail centre or something with an uplift.
Travelling from Bath, would prefer not to be driving more than 1 hr 30 to 2 hours?
any recommendations?
ta
New Bike park of Wales or Forest of Dean.
BPW has no uplifts, forgot to mention its a Saturday!
would prefer an uplift if available!
any one have any further thoughts? any ideas appreciated...
Obvious is Cwmcarn, both uplift and TC
Brechfa, Afan, BPW, FOD, Darren Fawr if you want TC's - all within about 2 hours
Brecon Beacons, and then a huge awesomeness of tracks, BW's etc - just over the border
Have you done the uplift at the FoD?
If not, try to get on that, it's virtually next door to you and there are loads of great tracks. It's brill for trail bikes too, and your post suggests you're not on DH rigs.
Yup not riding DH. 5" jobs.
Thinking of the FOD
cheers for
BPW uplift might be booked up online but they seemed to leave a bit of space to be able take PAYG riders up when I went the other weekend, plus the pedal up isn't a killer, a fair few people we doing a mixture of the two, pedal up a couple of times then hop on for an uplift ride maybe, don't count on getting a ride up but the odds are fairly good that you would...
It is a good venue.
Thanks Cookeaa, I had thought about just going to BPW anyway!
