I am trying to insure a reasonable number of bike and most of the insurance companies don't want to cover that many. Has anybody got any useful suggestions?

Yeah, how many? I've got seven insured at the moment on a normal house policy

5 here with nfu. All for personal use though. Is it personal or are you running a business?

Direct Line Premier home contents covers any individual item up to £10k.

We have a few more than 10, they are half mine and the other half belong to Mrs Bruce. One insurer has already said it's too many. I will give direct line a go as my car is with them.
Thanks for the suggestions.

We did ours with John Lewis, cost a fortune but seems pretty comprehensive.

Try Fresh Insurance, that's the broker I used, got a great policy with AXA.
