Evening. I noticed today when bleeding my Shimano brakes that the beta clip on the end of the shaft that goes through the caliper is missing. Can anyone please tell me where to get a replacement?
Many thanks,
Dom
Is it an R-clip you're looking for? The R shaped clip that goes through the pad retaining pin?
Hi. It doesn't go through the pin, but is secured into a groove in the end of the pin.
Sorry, it's been a while since I messed with Shimano brakes. Google C clip, is it one of those?
broke soul, that's what's on my other bike (XT 785s), but on the bike in question the pin has a flat head screwdriver end, not an allen key, and the clip is not bent. The brakes are older XTR, M975s, I think.

Like those ^?
That looks like the ones. Many thanks!
The stock STW answer is "Go to your LBS, biscuits in hand".
Always an option....
