Can't find any pre built (I know id be lucky to find one as 26=dead)

Its for my hack hardtail I have been clinging to

Can get one from eu custom but it's 260 with a decent rim

Anyone seen any online?

Needs to have ratchet system not pawls

i thought the hubs alone were 200+ new?

why so specific?

curious as i've got a set on my old bike..and still debating whether to swap the frame out and build a bluepig style bike, part the bike out or sell it whole..

(240s, had the ratchett replaced recently, and front n back are running enduro bearings too)

Not sure about pre built but you could build one up yourself? Not going to be cheap though - you’d need a 350 hub minimum for the ratchet - the 370 has pawls. So around £200 ish (maybe just below) for the hub, plus whatever rim and spokes you want to run.

I tried the ratchet on a wheelset on my enduro after going through 3 pawl type hubs in 6 months and after another six months it is faultless

easy maintenance too no tools just pull the cassette off and regrease (hope just pulls off too but I've been through 2 freehubs and the downtime waiting for replacement is annoying

I would get a build from my lbs but they have waiting lists , both of them! It also ends up costing a lot more than a pre built wheel

There are still pre builds on the internet but I've only found fronts and non ratchet ones

They can be deals on 350 hubs I got a e1700 boost wheelset for 220 just need to scour the web

There is actually a few like that further away from me but not miles so I could get in touch with them

The only problem with that is if they charge retail for the hub and rim which would be 3-400 and I want to spend half that

Looking for a old new discount ideally but they require time and a lot of googling

it's going on my commuter/hack/winter/bikepacking hardtail but I need it for commuting asap

Um, have you looked on eBay? I got a set of 240 hubbed pre built dt wheels for <100 quid.

If you end up looking for a 26" rim for a build, On One have 26" WTB Kom i23's and i25's at £14.99 at the moment.

My LBS are happy to build my eBay hubs for me, I buy the rims and spokes from them plus the labour. Not that expensive if you can get the hubs cheap (sub £400 for a set of King ISOs on DT392 rims for example, cheaper than a new rear hub)

Anyway, keep an eye on fleabay for hubs, don't necessarily have to get wheels.

@Rich_s have you got a link to those I couldn't see them after a quick search

I was looking for a dt rim too but those wtbs seem dirt cheap they are suppose to be cheesy though aren't they? Never used them so can't judge them too quick

@sslopes I don't have a picture but it's just a 26 inch rear wheel dt hub 350 (ratchet) qr 135 spacing but could convert from 142 with new caps on any rim (dt ideally)

If you can get a wtb st i25 instead of the Koms they are stronger but a bit heavier. I recently built a set up for my hardtail and have bashed them through some rocky trails locally at some optimistic speeds and they’ve survived so far. I even built them myself - first wheelset I’ve done.

I have a pair of M1600 DT Swiss factory built wheels, front wheel has bladed spokes and the rear has plain round ones. The rear hub is the ratchet type and setup for the 10mm DT Swiss RWS bolt that fits in QR dropouts; I always liked this system, IMO better than QR. The front wheel is setup for a 15mm bolt thru fork. Both hubs are centrelock but come with 6 bolt converters. The rims are grey in colour.

They're in good nick, bit of paint bubble around some of the nipples, but both run true and have no dings.

I'm in Manchester / Peak District if you're interested - send me a direct message thru here if you are and we can discuss a price - I'm not being coy, I genuinely don't know what they're worth, I really do need to get rid though!

Cheers.
