As the title really, Been running a sram rival chain set on the cx bike, but gone and stripped the threads out of it, dam. Anyway looking at a new setup, Sram force, x1. Needs to be GXP though, or does it? I have a hope bb so does a BB30 fit that if I take out the spacers from the hope bottom bracket on the one side?? Anyway wheres the best price at the moment for this chainset, any discount codes. Need the smaller chainring, currently on a 36t so the 42t will be the biggest I want.

if its the 24mm hope BB with the GXP adapters then no, a BB30 won't fit. You could remove the spacers and fit a shimano chainset though
Yes, its the spacers to pad the one side of the bearings out to make it smaller. Cheers for that, I wasnt to sure.

also, doesn't have to be force 1, i have a force 22 chainset and i swapped my 1x chainring/spider doo dah straight on to it from a rival 1x crankset.... does that make sense? force 22 may be cheaper as force 1 is a bit fashionable etc
