Not sure if you know this, or if it will help in the search, but that size was called "evolution". Started on fisher bikes. I remember running them on my funk and my manitou frames.

I assume you know you can get reducers for the head tube but it's the fork steerer that's the limiting factor right now. What fork is it?

Is it for a quill stem? I might have one in the garage and will take a look if it is what you are after.

Might be a Fisher Evolution headset. Found on 90s cannondales and Gary fishers.

This is the one I have. I got it for a retrobike project about five years ago but never used it so it's as new.

Also have a quill stem if you need one. It's 1-1/4" too.
