You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
So, me and bobalong have got a long planned long weekend of riding booked starting Friday. It's his last weekend away for a long time as tiny feet are imminent. It's my first weekend away for ages.
We were planning to head for Wales, but the weather looks horrible. I don't have anything against riding in the mud or rain, and do it a lot, but would prefer to avoid the gloop this time. Any top tips for all-weather trailcentres, (and any tips on where to go to avoid the rain) would be very welcome.
Looking for something with fast flowing singletrack and a bit of challenge to help me justify getting my bouncy bike out of hibernation. Wales was first choice, but happy to cast the net wider - althogh foreign travel isn't really in budget sadly.
I went to Coed Y Brenin today wet but no mud, found it quite technical in the wet , it was great fun, I think the trail was about 38km and nearly 1k climbing , the Beast .... 😀
penmachno holds up well in the wet.
