[Closed] Where on earth can I find a left cone for a FH-2200 / FH-RM40?

All the usual places only seem to have the right cone for this Shimano rear hub - the left cone has a different part number so I guess it's not the same thing...

Can't believe how quickly it deteriorated, came on a brand new bike and has only done 1,000 miles tops - cone and bearings already rough as sandpaper! Any tips for making sure the next one lasts longer? What kind of grease should I be putting in there?

They are £1.99 and in stock at the Mothership.

Would you like 1?

Looks like it is not possible to get on it's own,.

You may be best ordering the whole axle kit at £9.99 to get one... hammer to crack a nut and all that but it would be worth keeping this in your spares box should you need other parts.

Madison call it 3SE 9802 and back in stock in August....

@thebikechain Thank you very much. Looks like I'll get the axle kit. Or maybe the whole hub. What a PITA!

According to the Wheels Manufacturing website you can fit their number 5 cone to that hub. Madison part number is WMCNR005 and it is in stock.

You hub is on the bottom of the 3rd page.
