@Zipyy - having quickly read through that post it did seem he offered a refund? Of did I misread it - That thread got closed for a reason - maybe best not to got there again? 😉

dunno, last time I read it he had his back up and stopped posting on the thread.. I'm not re-reading it again, as I have formed my opinion of him.

BTW - Just found out that Realman was knocked off his bike by a car 2 weeks ago and had to go to A&E so prob why he's not been around lately!

I heard he broke two arms and a leg but he described his body as being in great condition with just a few minor marks 😉

Realman posted up the other night, but was immediately asked if he had refunded the chap for those brakes, and that seemed to be it. I always found him quite funny, but his behaviour with the brakes seemed to show his true colours. It was kind of ironic after he did the post 'bigging' himself up the day before. Unless we think cheating folk on the classifieds is ok, we are better off rid of him imo, you make your bed....blah blah.

I am up for welcoming him back if he puts it right. Call it forgiveness, 2nd chance, he made a mistake, whatever, but he has to correct it. Otherwise he is persona non grata, and will get harried every time he appears on here until he puts it right.

Well I try not to judge but reading that post I am put off slightly from selling anything on here just in case the mob comes round with bombers!

Do you mean my post? It's not about baying mob, it's about a community policing peoples behaviour. As far as I can see it is a an insignificant minority of people who rip other people off. But if you get ripped off it feels pretty bad.

Did he not used to be a regular on Bikeradar until a falling out with people. A quick search would suggest he's not to popular on there either. Maybe it's in his personality to upset people.

Foxy, as long as you are honest with what you are selling then there won't be a problem. Also if you can resolve any potential issues with the same honesty it will only enhance you selling reputation.

Well there you go then, where's the problem.

Whatever motivates people to behave properly, in your case it's obviously a sense of honour, fair play and honesty, in others it's the threat of internet dislike that keeps them on their toes - or out of the playground.

TBH I would like to know where the mods are in all of this. If it was my forum I would have kicked realmans arse by now.

Which is why you foxyrider have nothing to worry about, if you made a mistake or accidently misdescribed something, you would correct it and take the hit if necessary, nobody is going to object to that (and if they do they might get the same level of disdain from me anyway)
