Looking for suggestions of locations for a family outdoorsy holiday in Norway. There seem to be a few bike parks around which might suit but we're also looking for other activities, not just biking (e.g. rafting/hiking etc). It's too much effort taking bikes with us, so would need to be somewhere that rented decent bikes. We've been to Moab and Whistler with the boys before (12 & 14) so looking for something with a similar range of activities.
Hey Adam, you could base yourself somewhere near Voss. Then you've got Sognfjord and Hardangerfjord not so far in either direction. Voss has a host of outdoor sports and guiding operators in different sports. Either hiking, rafting/kayaking both on the sea and river and then you've got Outdoor Norway who offer Cube bikes to rent.
