Dear STW

I posted a little earlier about some websites that offer route advice, but, when I open memory map, I cant seem to find where I live (near worksop) so thought I could just google and find the appropriate map?! I should be so lucky! either i'm a raging moron (thats perhaps rhetorical) or I cant see what I want.

All I want to do is look at a map of where I am, plot a route or download one, do some funky stuff and transfer it to my garmin etrex and then set off, is that too much to ask?

I have the garmin software, but its fairly old and using the updated version, I get some odd .dll error.

oh well, another coffee and i'll see what I can sort, but if anyone else could help, that would be greatly appreciated 😉

cheers,
Jonathan 😉

Memory Map? You do realise that you have to buy the map files don't you?

Or are you talking about some other piece of software that you get with the Garmin?
