My mate needs a 29er/27.5+ fork with 140mm travel

Has anyone spotted any bargins? I've tried the usual german sites but couldn't find anything with the big reductions from the start of the year.

Been casually looking as well, not a huge amount around. I’d go second hand.

I seem to remember them being well regarded.

I dunno, but haven't the manufacturers tightened down the supply chain, reduced oversupply to OEMs, who then sell on, undercutting the distributors and the LBSs?

I got a Manitou Mattoc for under £200 from CRC.
Even cheaper if you're not fussed about colour.

I bought a set of 36 29/27.5+ 150 performance elite for £430 off crc in March time. Turned up in a normal box without any manuals or extra tokens making me believe they were meant for oem builds. Cheaper than second hand

You'd have to be a right mug to buy that. 🙂

(I think Planet X have done a switcheroo on your link)

Why’s that Martin, as X-Fusion are fairly damn good ime as I had a Velvet RL2 that performed rather well.

I’ve got a spare set of Fox rhythm 130mm that are unused; same fork that came on my bike and they are superb. I bought them as spares but never needed them *stealth ad*

I got a set of brand new Fox 34 Performance Elite 29/27.5+ forks from Wiggle ebay shop a couple of months ago for £322

Keep an eye on these and something might pop up.

Thanks for all the fork offers.

My mate is waiting to see if he will get a warranty replacement for his current fork.

I got a 140mm 29er Pike off of On One for £175, not long after they came out. Only had 1 in stock in their sale outlet.

That was a long time ago, but I thought it was a bargain!
