Need a 29er (20mm hub) front for Friday, needs to come with 20mm adaptor to cut down on faffage/cost.

Who do you recommend?

No mate, it's one of the lads who's coming to Scotland this weekend.

The LBS has let him down so i've talked him into getting a Hope hoop...

zilog - did it come with 20m adaptor chucked in?

IIRC correctly XC wheels eg crests/arch always come with 15mm adapter, DH wheels like Flows come with 20mm

I bought mine from Progressive Bikes, give them a call, I'm sure they would be able to help you out.

Moonglu ftw. Can probably build them before then if needed, though they may have a set in stock, and I specced mine with 20mm adaptors. Matt H at 18 Bikes is known for building very good wheels too, so they'd be worth a shout.

Another vote for Moonglu here.

They build them in house to Hope Hoops spec rather than buying them pre-built from Hope. I bought a Hope Pro2/Arch wheelset from them in October 2010 which is still perfectly tensioned and straight after regular use.

18 bikes' website only show wheelsets...

only 'cause I've not got round to working out how to list everything clearly without it all being really confusing. info@18bikes.co.uk we can sort out individual wheels (closed Wednesdays though, bear that in mind!)

I've also got a DT350 (20mm) on Arch EX 29 front wheel that we could let go for a deal - misunderstanding from Madison as to it being swappable to a 15mm.

Just out of interest, is there much difference between the Hope machine built hoops and a wheel set put together by hand?
