Preferably in a cartridge, can't find anywhere that has stock of anything decent.

I use Evinrude triple guard Marine grease, as above, get it from a Chandlers.

Mike, the chandler (boat shop) opposite haywood farm shop sells proper marine grease. It's not blue but I'm not sure a blue additive actually makes it more waterproof.

JCB branded grease will do the job - blue/lithium/waterproof/etc.
I used it for years in Landrover wheel bearings, etc.

Otherwise try and find a local branch of either BSL/Brammer or ERIKs - both will have what you need in stock.
