You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Because they obviously use a different centimetre than the rest of the world!
This time it's arm & knee warmers. I'm bang in the middle of "medium" for their arm warmers which are in danger of cutting off essential circulation to my fingers. You just can't buy Endura online.
I'd agree with that whole heartedly, and to make things even more complicated a L in the Roubaix LS top is a different size to the L in a different top,
Probably the same place you buy Endura sewing machines. Sometimes you get excellent stitching, sometimes it falls to pieces after a few uses.
And just when you think you have the upper hand your BAABAAA Merino top that you purposefully bought in XL becomes an M after a wash,
I'll never forget buying an XXXLsingletrack short about 6 years ago 34" waist?
I'm curious where they get their non-waterproof drysuit neoprene. All the seams seem to be welded and sealed, it's the main material that leaks.
I'm presuming Madison managed to buy the Endura Tape to use on their short sizing charts so it must be available somewhere?
If anyone happens to have a pair of oh-so-too-small Singletrack medium size shorts in Yeti/Enduuurrooo/Aquamarine blue...
I'll take them off your handies quite happy-pods.
Lol, I know what you mean. Just received two pairs of Humvee shorts, the Large are flippin huge and defo bigger than my current Large ones. Medium for the replacements and hope they're not tiny.
I have 3 pairs of endura shorts, 2 jerseys, 3 pairs of socks and a pair of bibknickers all of which fit me perfectly I reckon you lot are just tubbies and don't want to admit it. Also had a pair of endura gloves that fit fine but they did fall apart at the stitching though they had taken quite a bit of abuse by that point.
I had two pairs of Humvees, baggies were fine but the liners, one pair was too small and the other too big. But once the stitching and the zips had failed on the baggies the liner sizing didn't seem to matter that much. Haven't bought any Endura now for years.

Hardly - I'm a 6ft, skinny xc racer type and can't understand who Endura stuff is designed to fit. I've a medium jacket that a platoon of Mr. Blobbys would struggle to fill and a pair of small/medium arm warmers that are wider than my waist but barely the length of my forearm.
Can't say I've experienced any durability issues, but kit that never leaves the cupboard rarely fails.

🙂
nah it's pretty screwed up. I got some humvees, zyme and a couple of inners. The humvee and inners are XL, zyme I take a medium, the original XLs I got were huuuuuuuge. Lusso seem to have similar issues lateley, have been in their xl shorts for years, last pair were too baggy, this years set of knee warmers are rather snug.I reckon you lot are just tubbies and don't want to admit it.
Mind you I think the endura tape could be going to the high street, I went to river island the other week, I'm a M or L top normally, ended up with a small, dunno if it's the vanity sizing thing but I don't remember wearing a S since about 2nd year at school.
I have 3 pairs of identical singletrack shorts in s, m, and l. All have exactly the same waist measurement.
Bizarre.
The Endura stuff I've got, either FS260 Pro or MTR fits nicely in the size it's meant to be, medium for a medium sized person
I finally gave up having being disappointed with the inconsistent sizing, but what really did it for me was the pair of 3/4 thermal bibs where one leg was longer and had a wider cuff than the other so never stayed put on my calf (and no, it was not my legs that were at fault).
Never really been aware of the above, i've liked Endura as i find they have "real" sizing, i wear a Large t-shirt, do i wear a Large jersey with Endura.
Whereas half of the italians brands i am anything between XL and XXXXXL, i swear Frankie Detorie is a large in some italian cycle gear (looking at you Santini)
Sizing has seemed fairly normal for me so far.
2 sets of humvees, a FS260 Jetstream LS jersey and a Equip Classics SS jersey, all in medium (175cm, 58kg), and all fitting fine.
[s]I'm a medium and their mediums fits me just fine (jerseys and shorts).
+1 for the you lot are fatties comment.... 😀
They're not alone, I bought some Tenn waterproof shorts last week.
My usual riding shorts are 36", but I've dropped about 14Kgs this summer so the elestic adjusters are on a tight as can be and they're falling off my arse, but I'm a creature of habit so I ordered XLs from Tenn - 36"-38" apprently - couldn't pull them up past my knees...

I have 2 pairs of medium Humvees, bought at the same time, from the same place, no matter what the labels inside them say they are not the same actual size, nor are they the same size as my medium Singletracks 🙄
I have loads of Endura kit and sizing has been fine. The MTR stuff I find smaller than lower in the range, so am a Medium in Singletrack 2's and MT500's and Large in MTR shorts.
I have worn their kit for past 15 years and only failure was a cuff seam on a Windchill jacket and some horrible gloves that the liner got all messed up in. Both were warrantied by the LBS without fuss.

Ha, yeah, I've gone from XL to L to borderline M without losing any weight/bulk in most shops.
Not exactly a fatty here, but...
Endura jersey, size S - massive and flaps all over but the arms barely cover my shoulders.
Endura shorts, size S - bibs too long but the legs barely cover upper thigh.
This was team kit, which often took 4+ months to turn up. Ironically they once blamed a delay in QC for the holdup, only for us to return 1/3rd of the stuff to be remade properly. Some QC!
Never again.
