I'm I've currently got a 26x2.4 rocket ron on the front. Long since discontinued.
I see continental do some.
The maxis offerings seem be 2.3 tops, but with bigger tread than I want, more DH type tyres.
I've got a couple of hans damph 26x2.35 but they are a bit chunky.
Specialized Purgatory 2.35 from Spez online.
Conti do some, but they're nothing like as big as advertised. Rockrazor in 26/2.35 is iirc about as big as advertised, and really good on the back. Death on the front.

Conti Trail Kings come up big, but might be more than you want. I have a secret fetish stash of unused/used 26in Rubber, including new Cedric Garcia Panaracer All Conditions, some new Michelin things, a ton of Maxxis Rubber etc. Most of mine are more general biking around rather than XC; although I think Ardents are good in 2.4
Conti, Maxxis or Specialized all worth looking at.
