Got a cannondale slate, it’s got a 1.5” steerer, with a 5 degree, 100mm long stem.

Need to get a slightly longer, higher stem to get a bit more weight off my wrists and upright, only to discover that every stem available is for a 1 1/8th steerer.

I’ve found one, but it’s for an ebike stem and the tightening bolts are too high up to fit to the steerer on my Dale, so back to the drawing board.

Anyone know where I can get a stem for a 1.5” steerer, that’s 110mm long with a higher degree of rise, or adjustable ?

eBay sh? I'd be surprised to see an adjustable stem for 1.5", it's more of a low end thing.

Thanks, that’s where I’ve been looking, no joy whatsoever.

Was hoping the STW massif would know of some hidden source of rare 1.5 stems 🙂

I've got a few short 1.5" stems knocking around in a cupboard (which would pull you in, but not up).

Maybe just whack a high riser bar on it?

It’s a cross bike, with drop bars with Shimano road ish gears and brake combo. If it was a mtb, I’d be ok in sorting this out with a riser bar.

Thanks, that might just do the job, I’d prefer an adjustable one, but that doesn’t seem to exist.
