Yep, if it's got "26" on it's well past it's best 😉

Do you find your disc brake applies itself when compressing the bike?

Looks like a the wrong tyre. You've trashed the sides yet the tread is brand new.

We just hand them down to the last in line in our house. Good years riding still left in those 😉 Still got some new 26" Butcher and Purgatorys in the garage loft

She'll be reet - with tubes anyway.

Looks like a 2 ride old Conti in fairness, bit more air in I fancy.

It doesn't matter at all, as long as it still works. There's only the thinnest skin of rubber on the outside of a tyre, you can frinstance rub through to the white in about 2 scrubs of a scotchbrite pad. The rubber on the inside is doing the sealing usually so the outside stuff is just looking nice and giving a wee bit of protection to the threads.

Only purgatory I bought had a slit sidewall on the second ride so I never had that problem and never will

Northwind has it. I always ride light tyres and they all look like this after a couple of months 😎

My WTB tyres look like that after their first ride through rocky terrain. If the tread is ok and it holds air, crack on.

I used to get that a lot on the 2.3 DD Maxxis Aggressor. Never had any issues and always rode to tyre to the end of its life.

Just keep adding sealant until it stops bubbling through the sidewalls.
