They are made, photographed, and on the sea on the way here.

So 3-4 weeks I think.

brant didnt specify what type of boat - i`m sure they can whip harder but slaves can only paddle so fast.

I had a disagreement with our purchasing manager over which items should be airfreighted in. He won.

I'm still trying to find out what shipped (by sea) when.

Hence, nothing on preorder until we do.

Your rich Brant! Airfreight is for transporting Unicorn tears.

Didn't someone show prior art on thick thing rings thus rendering SRAM claims moot?

I'd buy one- glad Brant is bringing these to market. Maybe next brant could design a Pike-esque fork that doesn't 'knock'.

we need 40t and 42t cassette cogs

i still dont understand the need. having ridding 90% of the SDW in a day in a middle ring and standard cassette. and i`m no whippet!

i could well be pursuaded by the cheapness of teh 34t for the HT though.

Maybe some of us would like to ride 100% of it?

So that will be about 2-3 months at least depending on how quick they do it.

Cool, it's on my "to ride" list, I thought it was just grassy rolling hills, I stand corrected

"South Downs Way" - it sounds like one of the softer parts of the Shire, but it does seem to go up and down quite a lot. I felt like I'd been deceived in some unspecified way when I did it.

Twenty quid is mega cheap! They made out of cheese or are they twenty something quid like £28? 😉

Either way i am sure they will sell well, the last 2 weeks was given over 8 weeks ago on instagram though... I love bike industry '2 weeks'

Hmmm, wait another month, or spend another tenner to have the part this week?

Found this the other day or maybe chance a cheap RF from yankland via fleabay... Dunno

Might get that in 34t and if I decide I really need a 32t order the OO in that size when it arrives...

Doubt they'll be in stock long when they do finally arrive, all the other brands have gotten people used to the idea of paying £35-£40 for a N/W ring now, £20 will seem like an utter bargain to many...

Oh I did ride all of it, well all but 2 climbs, one because there were too many people walking it already and one cos I thought if I rode it I may regret it later. I confess I did have a granny but it did only shift if I kicked it correctly so I gave up on it for most of the ride.

Bloody long way. Bloody lot of ups. But it is quite dull in terms of mtbing.

Anyway I digress. Thick thin chain rings. Probably good.

30's are in, but I need to check chain compatibility as we saw an issue with brand new non Shimano chains.
Other sizes not in yet but very soon.

More news early next week.

Ha..

Was hoping they would be available in different colours - same as raceface. I would happily pay an extra few quid.

Bugger!

All that time waiting and I missed the sodding things.
Did the whole lot sell out in one weekend then?
That'll teach me not to spend every waking moment checking and re-checking the interweb...

If anyone is underwhelmed with theirs in the next couple of weeks I'll happily give you 15 Euro-sheckles for your slightly used 30T ringmaster...

Is restocking likely to take less than 2 months Brant?

Got a chance to fit it as my new chain came today as well.
Had 28/42 before so if anything i'll miss my big ring now and again.

Might have to play around with the chainline, this is on the 36. Its perfect on the middle sprocket though.

Edit: haven't been out on it yet - will report back.
