I have a Raleigh Militis bike recently built up and am looking for some decent clinchers to give decent performance and some comfort for general riding on mixed roads. I have used some vision team 30 wheels but they didn't feel great for whatever reason, so am looking for alternatives, I have come across the Shimano Rs500 ultegra wheels for around £200 on clearance. I have previously ran vision T42 (carbon rims) but they felt too delicate and flimsy at times, (the rear hub prs system didn't help matters). Price wise I don't want to go crazy(sub £250 ideally) and not fussed on rim depth, though I have seen a lot mention rim width more so which could give more width to the tyre when mounted right, as the shimano seem on the narrow side (I have rs11 as winter wheels).
