Mrs B has got a new to her frame of her dreams. Its a 29er and takes a 135qr rear hub.
Can a hub of this size take 11sp cassette?
Im pretty sure Hope hubs can be adapted to qr with endcaps. Is there anything else to consider?
She is making a monstercross style bike for bikepacking, so needs a light xc style rim. Can anyone recommend anything?
Or, stealth wanted...got anything languishing unloved in the garage?
Thanks
Ian
11speed no problem.
I've got a pair off my giant anthem.
29 with 15 mm bolt through front and qr rear. Yours for postage or collect from Epsom area if you don't want anything fancy.
I'm just about to sell a set like that (Just swapping the tyres and bits to some new ones this weekend)
Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs, tubeless Easton ARC 27mm rims, don't know what the spokes are
I put a 12 speed eagle GX on my 135...
Yes my Cotic has hope pro 2 on qr and 11 speed
Can a hub of this size take 11sp cassette?
Yes. If it can take 9 speed, it can take 11 speed.
Yes, got 11 speed on hope pro 2 evo on qr rear end.
Edit - Missed the above 2 posts, what they said.
My mavic xa wheel is 135. I can buy an xd driver for it:

Thanks for your help guys.
@zippykona thank you but she has her eye on something a little more glitzy. Some ladies are hard to please. Please dont be offended..
@yourguitarhero, we have sent a PM

Damn, I'm also looking for a pair of 135/15 wheels that I can convert to microspline when I need to.
@yourguitarhero let me know if that falls through.
Or anyone else.
Yeah no problem. You get compatibility issues across sizes but so far nothing actually functional at all- literally the only reason in almost all cases for the change in hub size was marketing after all.
Have a look at Fitwheels in Poland. Custo. Wheel builders who seem to have great prices on dt swiss.
I got a set of xr391 rims with dt hubs (350 front and an oe spline rear that is essentially a 240), built for £330 delivered in 15mm front, qr rear.
