I know there have been a few similar threads recently but has anyone got any experience with the Wheels Manufacturing Bearing Press? I’m thinking about buying the Consumer Press and the 6802 (for 3802 bearings), 6902 and 6903 adaptors for use on my Transition Scout.
Can anyone confirm that they’re all compatible as the Wheels Manufacturing site doesn’t list the Consumer Press, but I ‘think’ it’s the same as the Economy Press they list?
That looks just like the pro one but in a different colour and without the brass inserts on the handles. Shoudl work fine I would expect. Wheels MFG stuff is generally very good.
Thanks Ben, I think it looks like what I need so I'll get them ordered. I really don't like bodging stuff and I can easily add new adaptors in the future.
One of my favourite tools. Mine has red handles, and I bought the full kit of drifts/spacers.
Lovely bit of tool porn, do I strictly 'need' to actually own one... probably not, am I glad to see it sitting there every time I open my workshop cabinet? yes!
