I've got a set of Sram Roam 40's which I don't have any major complaints with but on uplift days and steeper rockier trails they do seem a bit flexy with a few disconcerting pings and tyre roll in faster harder corners even without running silly low pressures.
So considering an upgrade but I'm not really in the market for anything too fancy or expensive. I've seen a set of used DT Swiss E1700 spline 2's for sale local to me for a reasonable price and wondering if they are a worthwhile upgrade.
They are 5mm wider (25-30mm externally) 4 more spokes (24- 28) and 225g heavier (1615-1840g.
Any one have any experience with the DT Swiss or any advice on what to look out for when buying
