Hi
just had mavic crossmax rebuilt with new spokes.after refitting the tyre is now rubbing on the driveside chainstay.does this mean the dish is out?..if so can i adjust it easily enough or is it back to the shop(which is a pain as is not close)

If it is that far out back to the shop!! Call them first to have a polite moan.

Can you put it in the other way round to see if the tyre touches the other side? If it does then dish is out.

defo sounds like the dish is out. they need thier dishing tool recalibrating. 😉

Some bikes (specialized mostly) have nonstandard dish, probably not that but you never know...

could it be that it was because i didnt give them the 142mm adaptor

shouldn't be. the dish is done to the end of the axle so not having the adapter shouldn't make any difference. either your frame has an asymmetrical rear end or they have not set the dish correctly.

Was mostly just older Spesh big hit and demo that had the offset rear end
Not stumpy or cambers etc
