Hi chaps,

Just picked up a 2018 Debonair Pike, looks like the air spring is a lot more progressive. I was running one token in a previous Pike, are you guys running the same or less tokens with the new Debonair Pike?

Cheers

Ricks

Just put an new 160 shaft in mine and taken a token out, so just one token now - feels great!

Think I used to use 2 in my old 160 pike...

I have just the one in mine, for 140mm travel. Still undecided if they need another so might try it and see. By way of comparison I had three in my old Pikes at 130mm travel...

Mine are 120mm, I think its got 3 in at the moment. Don’t know if its the short travel and tokens but I can’t get the last 20mm of travel so im going to remove one and see how it is.

Mine is a 130mm 29er. It came with 3 tokens, but I've removed one so far.

Cool, mines 160mm, they come shipped with zero inside. I immediately popped one in, and then read some blurb about them being more progressive now.

I think I have 2015/6 26 in wheel Pikes. No tokens fitted. Not sure if I should add any tokens?

It depends on the travel. The less travel you have the more tokens you need.

Currently Rockshox recommend,

0 tokens for 160mm

1 token for 150mm

2 tokens for 140mm

Etc..

That's the 2018 version, I'm sure for previous Pikes I was running one token more. So 1 for 160, 2 for 150...

Just in case anyone Google's a similar question... After riding with 0 tokens on my 160 Pike, they feel similar to the previous Pike with 1 token. But... More plush at the start of the travel, and a very decent ramp up to hold up in steep ground, but still use most of the travel.
