Saddle always ends up rammed forward on all my bikes, just seems the right position for me.
Will be available for tarring and feathering on the FW on Sunday. I'd half considered putting a QR seatclamp on specially but I think the mudguard will be enough 🙂

Saddle should match bar tape and tyres. Also is that a mtb saddle? And those hoods should really be black.

I've actually got a white saddle for it but it's not as comfy as that one, it'll go back on after the weekend when some of the committee's other concerns may also be addressed.
Non white hoods would have cost more BTW 😉

Marginal decision on the sizing, would have needed a very short stem on a "medium". This one is nicely chuckable & climbs like a bullet out of the saddle.
Saddle height looks ok but it looks much too far forward.

you need to trim the inner cables where they come out of the brakes as well - there's far too much 'spare' before you get to the end cap.
I'm wondering if that saddle is in roughly the right position actually, if you look at it relative to the BB rather then the seat tube, it looks ok. Do those planet x frames just have really slack seat tubes?
Also surely the computer should be on the stem not the bars.
Agree with chunky, it looks like you've put adult parts (no pun intended) on a kids frame.
Seat angle is pretty normal I think, as I said I just always end up with an inline post & seat forwards. Maybe someday I'll go for a bike fit so they can measure my legs etc & find out why.
Cables etc will be trimmed in due course (still bedding in).

I don't think my sofa is as comfortable as that saddle.
How many of those parts came from a MTB? To me it looks like:
- Mud guard
- Saddle
- Seat post
- Stem
- Rear mech?
- Cassette?
And how are the tyres? Any good? (Genuinely interested)
The Ultremos? Pretty quick and not that much harsher than the 25mm GP 4 seasons I've been training on, only ~100 miles on them as yet so dunno about durability.
Might put the Contis back on for Sunday if the forecast stays wet though.
Rear mech is SRAM Apex so effectively MTB. Cassette is 11-28.

How does it ride?
Ah yes, that minor detail... rather well actually, the wheels could be lighter but nice quick handling without getting too squirrelly at speed and it climbs very, very effectively. Certainly stiffer than the steel frame I've been training on all winter but not noticeably harsher (allowing for the tyres).
Thinking I might twist the mudguard round to a jaunty 15 degree angle for Hardknott on Sunday for the full horrific effect. Just got to avoid the impulse to bunnyhop potholes and cattle grids all day...
Looks small for how tall you must be with that seat. Are you a freak perhaps?
Hoods look fine though if it's an ergo bar. I like having flat tops onto flat hoods, but on the bars I have I can never reach the drops properly set up like that. Doesnt' really look like an ergo bar though, looks a bit like you have levers with reach adjust that are adjusted a lot.
I'm 5'6" and fairly standard proportions... I think.
The bar is a Ritchey ergo shape but with a shallower drop than usual, the lever reach is indeed adjustable (they're SRAM Rival) and wound in a bit.
It's a normal sort of length, 530mm effective TT, just a really short seat tube. In fact it's exactly the same TT as this:-
