One set came with a Cannondale road bike ten years ago. The other with a current Cannondale road bike. What are they?
One set shows the front, the other the back.
Weights to balance the wheel on the opposing side to the valve?
Brake pad spacers when removing the wheel or bleeding brakes?
Isn't something to do with the front mech? Like a plate that you stick on the frame and wind the limiting bolt up against it? Basically a brace to stop you drilling a hole in your carbon frame.
I've definitely seem them before but I might be wrong.
Wedges for trimming ye olde fronte meche (as ^ said)
They are fringarsnik calibration plates
I didn't know that cannondale used fringarsnik boost drive 😉 lol
Support plates for the front mech if using a braze-on bracket. Stops it twisting for a better shift.
They look like the shims Shimano used to include with front mechs so they could be fitted to more than one diameter of seat tube. Right down to the little double sided tape thingies to stick them on with.
Don’t think so as they come with both rim brake and disc brake bikes.
Bentudder. That would make sense as the three bikes have all had shimano front mechs and I’ve never used the part.
thanks all. Parts bin they’ll go.
As mentioned above. They are to protect the frame for the mech support screw.
