Need a new bell for both my and the GF City/Rat bikes.

Had a knog one on the GF's bike. It's shit. Too quiet and the spring is weak/broken.

I have a couple of the Rock Bros Spur copies - couldn't quite force myself to pay 3x the price for the same thing! Needed to tweak the spring/clapper with pliers to get it work better

The bell I love is the Timber!

It's a great trail bell as it rings on rough ground, therefore, it's not great as a commuter/city bell unless you're happy to jiggle your bars a lot.

Ah, you're thinking of Boris Johnson.

On topic, avoid the Knog bell, it's utter pony.

I've got a Knog. Great bell. Best I've ever had. Walkers really do hear it and take notice.

The Rock Bros copy of the Spurcycle isn't great, high-pitched and not very loud. Not bad for the £ though. The Crane E-Ne is far better sound ime, about £20. https://www.cranebellco.com/bells

Hmmm.... Just found a vid on YouTube of both the Spur and Rockbro bells. Very high pitched (the GF suffers from tinnitus).

And how much for a bell...!?!?
