i have vegas pro 11 to edit my go pro footage and tried to use it for the first time today and failed!
couldnt get how to work it, got as far as uploading the video to vegas then it lost me, tried to crop footage etc but nothing. is there a simple bit of software to say merge several clips choosing what you want in it and adding some tunes??
im prob being a biff not being able to work vegas pro but hey... lol
also... had the go pro on my handlebar stem and god does it shake alot! some parts of the video i couldnt watch due to the mad vibratons and shaking!!!! whats the smoothest place to mount the gopro?

Try Windows Movie Maker.
Chest mount is more stable than the bars.
Yup - windows movie maker does a decent enough job for absolute beginners.
