Hi been looking at the POC and 661 elbow pads
and whats the best you can reccommend
Or whats the best of the above
Which 661's? I had a pair fo chicken wings which were useless at staying put and fell apart despite not being used much. The Evo's look great though. I use race face zero's now which have been great so far. Can't comment on others, but from what I've seen POC are really good.
I've got POC and can highly recommend them.
+ 1 for POC, very comfy, dont notice they are there
Use POC and they work well.
The new Endura MT500 are worth a look too!!
Why is POC stuff so expensive? 😕
I use those ridiculous black/white 661 efforts that DHers use.
I have matching shin/knee pads too.
Sure, they're quite heavy, but if I'm wearing pads, I'm wearing pads.
DMR V12s with extra long bastard pins hold no fear for me now. Other than when I'm not wearing said pads, obviously.
DHers don't use elbow pads 😉
Thanx for replies I bought the POC Pads from Descent-Gear.com £ 44.99p
including next day delivery. Bargain 😀

you mean like this - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=46386 ????
Thats taking the Pinna collarder how much for that TOP 😯
You got the Bones aye Grantway? You won't regret that, they're ace. Excellent protection, they'll stay in place but they're comfy and don't heat you up as much as any other pad I've used. Not so enclosed, see. I thought hard armour would be uncomfortable and sweaty so I kept trying neoprene ones, they're all pish frankly.
But I still wouldn't spend £70 on a t-shirt, **** me.
Hi Northwind Hows you fella
Yep ordered the POC Bones But yep like you
I would'nt pay that for a shirt
Love my POC Bones Arms, stay in place and aren't particularly sweaty. Only problem is they've got me considering upgrading my knee and spine protection to POC at massive cost.
Shoot, descent-gear sent me an e-mail stating that elbow bones no more in stock. Ordered softie* ones, hope they will arrive Friday, otherwise I am compromised for Scotland trip.
Got the POC VPD Knee Pads... they're ace and worth the money IMO.
Got to say these pads are excellent and well worth the extra cash
and yes will look at the knee pads when me Troy Lee's go
