Had a SC highball frame on order for a couple of months now. Can't really wait much longer for it, so need to start looking at other options.

Will run a 100mm travel fork, want a bike that can be used for mountain marathons and wheels no ground trail riding, and I don't want steel.

Not compared the geo, but off-hand the Whyte 29C?
Or does it need to be frame only?

Voodoo Bizango - but you will be lucky to get hold of frame only.

Otherwise 2nd hand On-One Scandal?

FF29 would have been good if they did a size larger. 🙁

Giant XTC 29 if you can find a frame or bike kicking around from last year?
Thanx,
Max

What is special about the SC highball that made you choose it over other more or less expensive frames? That would help narrow down an alternative.

A Carbonal Gaea would be right on the top of my list if looking for a sensibly priced 29er XC frame.
