Lovely build (applauds)

I have no idea, but being in the middle of a new build, I know I can't afford it!

Looking at the lack of wear on the cranks, I'd say that's seen so little use it's going to be about 75% of what you paid for it.

Wouldn't like to comment on the bike as a whole, I think it depends on finding the right buyer to achieve something like the 65-75% you might be hoping for. Croix de Fers in particular seem to go for a surprisingly wide range of prices. Ultimately it comes down to how long you're willing to wait to sell it to try and achieve the price you want and how much 'the market' is willing to pay.

On a separate note if you decide to sell the carbon fork on it's own, I'd be interested!

I'd say it's worth exactly one of these:

Sold it then? Good job you're not the sort to post a thinly disguised classifieds ad in the main forum 🙂

Had basically sold it, bar ironing out a few details, Tony. But was curious what others had thought it was worth. I still think the buyer got a bargain-ish.

I'd agree, very nice build and well worth £900.

Out of interest, why have you sold it and what's next?

I'd agree, very nice build and well worth £900.

Thing is, you say that, but most offers via eBay were mostly £750-ish. Which confused me a little bit, as bog standard ones were going for £700-£750. I would have liked to have got nearer 1k, but I just didn't see that happening.

Anyway, I sold it as it felt a bit heavy. At first this wasn't an issue, but after having a go on/off road on a few ally framed/carbon fork CX bikes, I decided to get something lighter. Probably a fools errand, and like usual I will regret the sale 😀

As for replacement, thinking Rose Bikes' DX Pro 3000 seems reet. Just wondering if it's worth the extra £200-300 over the DX Pro 2000.

Pah t'was a rubbish build anyhoo. Didn't really want it 😉

3000 goes up to 11, so yes that alone make it worth more.

3100?
I've been eyeing one up to replace the boat anchor feel of an alfine pompetamine.

Looks nice, but Not sure I would want to spend an extra £600, over the 3000, for Di2.

White should under no circumstances be seen on a bike.
White bar tape on a CX bike - they have not thought that through

Black and change the tape
