Thinking of selling my Mk2 Cotic Soul frame in black (medium).
In decent nick. Some heel rub and the top tube is very scratched from the brake hose.
Could get it powdered coated to add some value? Dunno.
Any ideas?
I just picked up a 3 year old black medium soul frame with salsa qr seatclamp and tired but working hope headset for 150 quid, it has plenty of scuffs from use but nowt to bad and no dents or dings. I wouldn't touch a powder coated bike, unless it was a hack, as i would wonder what the seller was hiding.
Cheers. Good point about the powder coat.
So approx 150 quid, hhhmmm.
I'd say at least £200, especially if you ebay it
Is the mk2 the 140mm one? If it is then I would expect it to be more £200 - £250 at least.
I'd say no more than £200 unless you get a desperate buyer on eBay. Getting it powder coated won't add any value and as said may put people off. I'd certainly be happy to be paying £140 knowing I may be getting something that I'd want to get repainted. If You advertised it at £200 and said "just been powder coated" I'd give it a miss.
It's 130mm. When I said mk2 I meant the second manufacturing run. The matt black ones. Probably 6 years old.
ah righto.
I got £200 for my custard coloured one.
Probably not worth selling.
I don't understand why anyone would want to sell a Soul, but that's just me.
I'm after a Soul - kinda/sorta - or a Singular.. dunno yet.
Send me some pics of yours pls.. simonpearson AT yahoo DOT com
powder coating wouldnt put me off - not really going to hide much
