Seen it on the STW home page, looks great for Pro2 users, 10/42, any idea when it will be available and a price?

I'd really like to know as well. Planning a new bike and torn between onyx racing sprag clutch hub and a pro 4. This cassette could be the deciding factor.

hope you don't climb many hills with the 4 alu cogs. probably cost a bomb to buy and replace.

It'd get abused a fair bit, is it cheddar?

It's available separately so hopefully not too expensive.

Probably 4 or 5 generations, by which point 1x15 will be out.

I had the 4-cog aluminium absolute black expander. It was hopelessly crap.

So, ETA on the cassette is January 2016! Can you believe it?!

They've also got some lighter cranks coming and some other nice bits.

So, these aluminium sprockets on the cassette, are they going to take a lot of abuse and wear before replacing, or are they really just a bail out for gears that are little used? I'm currently running a steel 24 tooth front & 34 rear on my 2x10 650b and it gets used on a lot of the steep climbs I do, to gain traction, as well as due to the steepness (+ combinations of the two). Will an aluminium sprocket not fare so well?
