would like to get a gps computer that has a built in map if possible (i don't have a pc unfortunately) and can show all the usual info (distance, time, elevation e.t.c). am not too fussed about heart rate or cadence.

am looking at spending £200 or less if possible.

what might you recommend?

thanks in advance 👍

Very impressed with the Wahoo Elment Bolt.

No need for a PC as you set it up through your phone and can upload rides to other sites if you want to. You can customise the pages to display different combinations of data and only display the data you want. It has a basic map but only black and white.

Garmin Etrex. A range of models from the Etrex 10 at around £100 to the Etrex 35 at £250. Use AA batteries so just get some rechargeables and you will be fine. Comes with maps but you can load OSM, OS, etc. if you want. Bluetooth for connectivity.

+1 for the Wahoo Bolt. I've had loads of Garmins and just find the Bolt so much easier to use. Also find it much more stable and the battery lasts longer. Garmin use to be great when a device went tits up but nowadays not so much. I couldn't tell you what Wahoo are like as mine has never gone wrong!
