I'm seriously thinking of a new steed as a pressie to myself for a whole number of reasons. I've been looking around and researching a bit and like the look of these two.

Question time. This will be for getting back into riding, starting with UK Trail Centres (Nanty is a personal favourite and Llandegla is probably my closest) and I want to build back up to some Alps trips. This bike needs to be able to do this!

What do you think between the two? Anything else you can suggest at that £1700-£2k price point?

Cheers!

The Canyon by a country mile.

Better wheels, better shifters, and a whole 5lbs lighter.

I've got a Mondraker Dune 2014 for sale - £1499 down from £2499...although the spec isn't XT - with the £500 you save could get a nice 1x10 set up and a dropper post etc for it and still have change
