After many miles with our bike, we arrive at home and eat...

I always eat a lot of meat with potates.

Generally it goes a little something like this:

Straight away (either at home or in the car) a chocolate milk shake - normally home made from lean whey protine powder.

After I get home (if a short run) shower and the a big bowl of vegatable pasta with chicken or if passing on the way a large donimos pepperoni passion with low fat cheese and jalapenos. Or on a long run as much Burger King/KFC as I can get down my neck - if not available what ever is at the services - Ginsters Pasty/sausage rol/ choccy and crisps.

If it's been a very long day another shake before bed time.

Bizzarely eating liek this over the last year has seen me loose 7kgs, which is nice 😆

Ooh, how we used to enjoy sharing a massive slab of Co-Op lardy cake back in the day. Couldn't get away with it these days though 🙁

Something very savoury usually, eg got back from Devil Ride Sportive yesterday....one can lager followed by left over rice salad and then chilli con carne with extra tabasco sauce and salt, salt and more salt (it was a warm day later!)

Something savoury.
The best has to be a large donner from the shop in Mach. sit on the seats outside with a can of real ale or take the donner down the road to the White Lion and sit outside. Heaven. Then find a cake shop for several real cream doughnuts.

Some class A drugs, no wait, some legal highs. Failing that, a good takeaway curry.

Cake, curry, bacon sandwich, cheese and ham toasty, protein bars basically anything to hand and nothing that could ever be seen as part of a structured regime.

Bacon sandwich followed by a pint always goes down a treat 🙂 Tbh anything will do after a ride, even a salad!

Tuna steak cooked medium rare on a bed of noodles or rice with stir fired mixed vegetables.

Surprisingly little. Exercise seems to damp down my appetite.

meat, meat and meat, with a nice big salad. Love the fatkins diet 😀

or if I've been an especially good boy and been out for a 6 hour plus ride I'll have a cake and skip a meal

Was that a Freudian slip, or intentional?

Tuna, spag, pesto and parmesan - it's my favourite pre- and post-ride fuel.

Anything less than 4 cans of Carlsberg Export & an FBI (Fu**ing Big Indian) is pointless after a good ride, It's the only reward.

if that was aimed at the fatkins comment, definitely intentional. I don't slip anything in anywhere without intent 😀
