I need to get a waterproof/wind proof jacket for general trail riding and would like some options from the STW massive.

I've been off the bike a lot this year due to injury so wanting to ride through the winter whatever the weather. I'm also emigrating to Oz in March so will be heading straight into another Winter. I don't really get too cold whilst riding, even in -5 i'll wear a base layer and t-shirt so don't want a thick warm jacket.

I like the look of the Altura Mayhem and have also considered the Royal Racing Hexlite Jacket, but what others to look at?

Anything made from eVent material, anything else will get sweaty too quickly IME.

Got a Vaude Tiak which is lovely quality - seems fairly breathable but I sweat too much in any waterproof I've tried. It's got pit zips which helps.

It has to be a real deluge and cold before I'll opt for a waterproof. I tend to just wear my Gore Phantom. It'll keep the worst off and I can remove the sleeves if I get too warm.
