Looking at some new V brakes for my flat bar hybrid.
Are the Shimano XT worth spending the extra on?
Or just go with Deore?
Any recommendations?

I'm not sure there's a whole load of functional difference with v brakes providing they have decent bushings and springs so Avid or Tektro might be just as good but if you like the look of the XTs then why not?

Now that parallel push v-brakes are no longer available just go with Deore.

Well based on the advice, picked up a new pair of Avids for £16 off Ebay.
