Yes, it's another 'what tyre?' thread, sorry.
I have just bought some road wheels with Velocity A23 tubeless ready rims.
I managed to fit a pair of Continental GP 4 Season (28mm) tyres but it was a struggle and I couldn't get them fitted without using tyre levers (I have sore fingers/thumbs and a bruised knuckle)
Does anyone have a pair of wheels with these rims - if so, what tyres are you using?
I fit GP 4 seaons all the time to A23's and other rims. The propblem is not the tyre but the your tyre fitting technique. Chase the tyre around the rim when it gets tight. check youtube to show you how or visit my shop and I will show you how, it easy when you know how. Tyre levers are not needed to fit the vast majority of tyres. There a handfl of exceptions but the GP 4 seasons is not one of them on any rim.
At the moment I've got 35c Conti cross tyre on mine, and it went on with no problem. I'll be trying the 25c Schwalbe Stelvio Rain tyres next week when the wheels go on the Audax bike instead.

Me and countless others if my googling today is anything to go by!
Unfortunately your shop is too far away to pop in 🙁
I will try again this weekend. I did watch this earlier.
Yes that is because when I see people ftting tyres there technique is all wrong. I see even experienced club rider strugling sometimes with tyres I know slide one with effort applied in the right way. I do try to help but many are relctant to hand over the wheel as they want to do it.
I should do a video on this bt I do not own a proper camera to do a good one. I am a bit of a dinasoaur when it comes to tech.
