Which tyres give a good profile on a wide rim?
That depends on the profile you're after...
I have read that some tyres are squared off too much by very wide rims.
Tyres need to retain a nicely curved profile or when the are leaned over they can break away suddenly at lesser lean angles than normally expected.
I was hoping that someone with experience of running wide rims would have recommendations on which tyres work best.
Something over 2.3 in real width. If they're squaring off its because they're being stretched.

2.35 Schwalbes for me. Hans Dampfs are a good all rounder. Rock Razor on the back when it's dry, Magic Mary on the front when it's sloppy.
A Minion would be better than a High Roller.
