I've ran WTB's Tough Fast dual ply tyres on the rear of my hardtail for a couple of years and they've never pinched or punctured. But given they're harder to find (in 27.5 x 2.8 flavour) I'm looking for alternatives that are equally as tough. What's out there (and available-ish) that genuinely will stand the toughest abuse?

I’ve ran the WTBs; personally I would be looking to see if you can get a flow snap in the right flavour… I run the heavier casing and I would say they are probably tougher than the WTB, more rigid, and grippier, that’s just my take! 🙂

Do Schwalbe do supergravity tyres in the width you want?
Those carcasses are as tough as WTB, I'd say.
