I know this has already been done to death already . What tyre would be best on the rear if I have a magic mary on the front ? I usually ride at whinlatter / llandegla / 7 stanes so nothing too hardcore . I know theres no perfect formula so I'm after your feedback . Thanks
Hi. On both of my bikes I use a magic Mary evo trailstar up front and a maxxis high roller 2 exo at back. The high roller2 is a excellent all round tyre anyway, but with the magic Mary evo it is a very good combination, in my opinion.
Specialized purgatory grid is my favorite rear for Calderdale/Peaks, fast rolling, durable, climbs well if you don't rider like a dick, will slide around a bit too if you like that sort of thing, cheap. I use as Baron Projekt on the front which is similar to a Mary.

I've started using a maxxis aggressor on the rear and it's been great for the stuff at degla where I do most of my riding atm
