I would like to get a smart trainer that I can use with my Rocket over the winter, possibly a direct drive so I don't have to keep swapping tyres over.

Does anyone know what (if anything) will fit? My ancient Elite mag trainer supported my old road bike on the QR skewers, but the Rocket has a nice flush bolt thru axle with nothing for a trainer to grip onto.

Thanks,

142x12 rocket? My elite direto came with the adaptors for 12mm axles. Is also direct drive.

The Wahoo Kickr range will do 142x12 also. But at a steepish price, though the new Kickr Core is more affordable than the original wheel-off Kickr and looks like a good call.

It's boost 148 x 12. Does it matter if it has a flush bolt axle rather than the QR style on a direct drive turbo?

Thanks,

I suspect that given the axle comes with the bike you'll be fine using the trainers 142 adaptor and a 6mm spacer (I e. Cheap boost kit).
