I need to buy some gloves, they're £27, it's free shipping over £30. What do I get for three quid? It's not like the old days when I'd just buy an inner tube...

Just been through the same. Broke the bank and ordered two sets of gloves.

Don't use 'em, I'd rather have a sandwich

You've possibly spent so long considering this now, that the cost of the time doing so, is greater than the postage.

But it's the principle, man, the principle!

Maybe list all of the things you don't have and then we can narrow down our suggestions to just those things? 🤣

Or tell us where from so we can see what they sell for £3.00

I've done this myself many times. I normally aim for work shop consumables.

This is the point, I already have plenty of the cheapy stuff that I'd usually grab in this situation. Woe is me!

Is it Tredz? They have free shipping over £30. Under that shipping is £2.95. I fear you may be overthinking this.

Balfe's Bikes. I've got £20's worth of reward points and it's £30 for free delivery. I need, but don't really need but I might as well get the reward points spent, some new gloves, so that's what I'm getting and they're £27.

Thanks for the efforts folks, what I found in the end was...

Giant Road Bike Chainstay Protector in Black

However it looks like I can't pay using Paypal if I want to use my points, and I don't have my wallet/card with me. FFS...

Always headset spacers for me, any time I take a bike apart and put it back together I end up at least one short!

If you've ever bought stuff using the browser on your phone, then your card details might be saved in there. At least with Chrome anyway.
