Am sure there are loads and loads of places if you search long enough on the net.

For me I did the same on my hardtail and upgraded/tarted it up with bits from Thomson and Hope. Bought most from Chain Reaction.

Replaced stem, top cap, stem spacer kit, seat post, seat clamp and bars.

The Hope bits were all the same colour, to match the Hope pedals I bought a couple of months ago, they have 6 standard colours with a fairly wide range of bits in those same colours.

Hope and Thomson is great quality, so it wasnt just about the looks but it helps :-). Loads of Thomson and Hope stuff on Chain Reaction, so it can give you an idea of what is out there.

Good luck

Cheers seadragon, was looking for something different from the standard stuff but it's always interesting to see what people can come up with.

could be an interesting thread, could be crap 🙂

Salsa Flip off QR's are quite nice.

Chris King do nice top caps - one should have come with your tarty headset!

Tarty pedals are available from Crank Bros - I wouldn't recommend them though. Time make nice ones that seem to work well.

No worries, you are welcome.

I don’t know a lot of others but went for Hope and Thomson because for the most part they always do well in reviews for quality and reliability etc. I haven’t been around the scene for MTB for long but I am sure after a lot of searching you will get what you want.

Generally when I am looking for anything I search for the component type I want and then sort from highest to lowest price and then of the ones I could justify spending money on I then research reviews etc etc

Other bike stuff I really like but cant afford is stuff by Tune but reviews seem to vary a lot as they do for Crank bros and others.

You could always go to the London bike show this week from Thurs to Sunday, am sure there will be loads of ideas for you. I am going on the Friday but don’t plan on taking my credit card lol.

Über bike Ceramic BB - rated by WMB as the best ceramic bb they have tried. It comes in plenty of Blingy colours too.
I've just got a gold ceramic bb from Token.

Carbon headset spacers

Coloured grips/end caps

Custom coloured charge saddle?

Got to be Csixx for the chainstay protector. Not cheap at £18 and a faff to order from KHS but worth it I think. Here's mine on my in progress Sultan build

I am liking that chainstay protector, I don’t like the clear lizard skins one I have.

Now £15.20 something from leisurelakesbikes and they seem to have a few different colours in stock. I might get one.

have a look at here http://www.xcracer.com/shop/ lots of nice kcnc and mt zoom stuff. I have mt zoom skeweres on my road bike - they're very nice.

I wouldn't use carbon headset spacers, they don't work well under compression and I think they're a bit tacky. Get some matt black ali ones - who want to promote the fact they have headset spacers?
