Hi all not sure anyone will know but I am trying to find out what type of Thule Wingbar I have, there does not seem to be any model number on bar at all. I was hoping to pass to someone else but unable to find out what it will work with on Thule website it says the car will take wingbar evo but not any old model just current which I know mine is not. Any help greatly appreciated.

All the Thule wingbar's (and Square, Heavy Duty and Aero) are the same shape. They are simply cut to lengths.

They will work with any Thule, Halfords, Exodus and Atera foot pack and mount. This is usually the bigger issue.

The actual bar - it comes down to width of roof compared to the length of bar, as the feet mounting points only have so much adjustability.

Look up your mate's car model- and it will recommend within the spec a length of roof bar. You can compare to yours.

I currently run a 'too small' Aero bar from an Ibiza St on my Leon ST - it has a few mm length left, but 'officially' I should be next size up. This is for the bike carriers.
On the same Leon ST I also run an Atera Aero bar on Thule feet - that officially is 'too long' but fits with mm's to spare, and fits my canoes.

Think the most obvious visible difference is the rubber strip covering the T track.
Wingbar evo has a split rubber strip (you push accessories bolts through the split)
Original Wingbar is a single piece bit of rubber that you trim to length and slide into the T track.

Not sure if the profile or fitting to the 'feet' differs.
