New bike needs a new bar... I've got a set of lowrise carbon Havens, which would be ideal but it needs about 40mm of rise- and no space on the steerer. (yes, I'm ruling out riser stems purely because they're fugly)

So- fitted my old monkeylite dh, which isn't far off ideal- 710mm wide, 40mm rise. But a wee bit chunky, and it's pretty well mauled too so I don't want to use it long term.

So... What's as tarty and as light as a Haven, and still good for a rough-use bike, but with the rise?

I like the Answer Pro Taper. But the rise is either 1/2" 1" or 2" so may not be quite right for you.

Enve one doesn't seem to come in high rise (lovely though)...

Protaper looks like the best so far, cheers! Not much in it between that and my old Eastons

I'm a fan of Syntace products but not sure they do a bar with that much rise, but a could be wrong...
